Now stocking the Irish Design House in Toronto, Canada
Stocking retail shops has been a goal of mine for the past year or so, because it offers people a chance to see my work in person, and therefore see the quality and craftsmanship in each piece. However, I’ve held off approaching shops for so long because I wanted to wait until I felt I had the workload from the business and college in a good balance. Naturally, my college course is my top priority, and when college gets busy, well I don’t get as much business work done as I’d like to. Now, I’m finished college for the summer, and working on an internship in an Engineering company in Dublin during the week. This leaves the weekends for me to get work done, and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.
The past couple of weekends have been spent on an order for the Irish Design House in Toronto, Canada. I got in touch with them a couple of weeks ago through Instagram. (If you don’t follow me, it’s where I put all my best photos of both my products and the process behind them – @conorlynchwoodturning)
#Repost from @irishdesignhouse I've held off from stocking any retail shops for a long while, until I finally felt I had my workload under control. The first shop I'm stocking is @irishdesignhouse in Toronto, Canada. The bowls arrived 2 days ago and 2 are sold already, so it's a good start! 🌲🌳 "Our newest arrival from Co. Offaly by @conorlynchwoodturning is fitting in quite nicely with our other handmade products. These are breakfast bowls, perfect for wet or dry cereals or use them for popcorn, fruit, nuts or any snack of your choice. Each bowl has been sealed with food safe oil and are made from Irish beech. Other sizes also available in-store and online. #idh #madewithlove "
